SCHEDULE:

8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-F; some overtime required

Qualifications:

• Current TN X-ray license and valid ARRT.
• Orthopedic office experience and computer experience helpful.
• Knowledge of both CR and DR X-ray equipment preferred.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated and highly organized.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques.
• Ability to maintain a positive demeanor with patients, peers, supervisors and physicians, especially when receiving feedback or direction.
• Prior ortho DME and casting experience a plus and must be willing to be trained in this field.

Duties:

• Performing diagnostic imaging examinations using x-ray equipment, explaining the procedure to the patient, and following physician orders precisely.
• Must be able to interact with doctors, patients, employees and other ancillary personnel with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Fitting DME on patients and monitoring of DME inventory will be required.
• Application and removal of casts and splints, suture/staple removal, and wound care also required.
• Perform other duties that enhance the workflow of the physician and clinic.
