Not Sure Where to Go
We'll help you decide whether you should walk in, book with a specialist, or seek emergency care.
Where Should I Go?
Not every injury or pain problem needs the ER. Not every orthopedic issue needs a specialist first. Here's a simple way to think about it.
Choose Urgent Ortho / Walk-In Care For:
- sprains and strains
- possible broken bones
- sports injuries
- sudden joint pain
- foot or ankle injuries
- hand or wrist injuries
- many back or neck pain flare-ups without emergency symptoms
Choose the ER For:
- severe trauma
- heavy bleeding
- loss of consciousness
- chest pain or trouble breathing
- major deformity after injury
- head injury
- symptoms that feel life-threatening or unsafe to wait on
Choose a Specialist Visit For:
- ongoing knee, shoulder, hip, foot, hand, wrist, or spine issues
- pain that keeps coming back
- problems that have not improved with rest or basic care
- concerns about surgery, recovery, or long-term treatment options
