Office Manager

LOCATIONS: Briarcrest, Southaven, Hernando

  • High school graduate or equivalent GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two years’ management experience in a medical office setting is required.
  • Well organized, flexible, able to appropriately delegate, and enjoy the challenges of managing a clinic.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced level of computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with electronic medical records systems.
  • Must be customer service oriented and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
  • Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under stress with frequent interruptions.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented; strong attention to detail is necessary.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with individuals both inside and outside the practice.
  • Ability to responsibly handle and maintain confidential information.



  • Responsible for the supervision of 20-30 direct reports.
  • Establish a team atmosphere through leadership and development.
  • Manage scheduling and payroll for assigned departments.
  • Ability to address patient, physician, and staff concerns in a positive manner.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors in other departments to organize and coordinate office workflows and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Travel between locations weekly.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations
