Alecia is a dedicated and highly skilled Physician Assistant working with Dr. Deneka. She possesses a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marquette University, having graduated cum laude in August 2024. With a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences, Alecia excelled as a Dean’s List scholar and recipient of the prestigious Jared Van Gheem Perseverance Award for resilience and determination.
Alecia brings extensive clinical experience across diverse specialties, emergency medicine and trauma, urgent care, and orthopedic surgery. Highlights of her clinical training include:
- Performing in-clinic orthopedic procedures such as hematoma blocks, reductions, casting, splinting, and joint injections.
- Utilizing ultrasound guidance for joint injections.
Prior to pursuing a PA career, Alecia developed a robust healthcare foundation as an Orthodontic Assistant and Treatment Coordinator, gaining invaluable skills in patient education, case management, and team training.
Alecia holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and HIPAA compliance and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants. Committed to service, she volunteers with community organizations like Feeding America and Ruby’s Pantry and has shared her passion for the PA profession through educational presentations.
