R. Jeffrey Cole, MD
Dr. Cole's practice combines broad upper-extremity orthopaedic expertise with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. His approach focuses on restoring motion, strength, and function through thoughtful diagnosis, conservative care when appropriate, and advanced procedures for conditions involving the hand, wrist, elbow, and thumb.
Dr. Cole served as the 2011 President of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society (TOS). During that time, the TOS was awarded the State Society of the Year Award by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Cole is involved in the Memphis non-profit scene and previously served as the 2016 President of Carnival Memphis. In this demanding role, he coordinated the organization's selection and support for three children's charities. He also served as Chairman of the Board in 2017 and remains involved at this time.
Away from the office, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his family and friends. Travel is a priority and offers the ability to spend quality time with both. He is a frustrated golfer but won't give up the game any time soon.
