Daniel T. Fletcher, MD
Daniel T. Fletcher, MD is a dual board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic hand surgeon at OrthoSouth specializing in surgery of the hand and wrist. He treats hand pain, wrist pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, trigger finger, fractures, nerve compression, and other hand and wrist conditions using both non-surgical care and advanced surgical treatment when needed. Dr. Fletcher routinely performs minimally invasive procedures, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release and percutaneous Dupuytren's release, and sees patients at OrthoSouth in Memphis-Briarcrest and Southaven.
Dr. Fletcher's practice focuses on restoring comfort, motion, strength, and function in the hand and wrist. His advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery supports a thoughtful treatment approach that may include splinting, injections, therapy-guided recovery, or minimally invasive surgery depending on the condition and the patient's goals.
Dr. Fletcher was raised in Memphis and received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. While in medical school, he served as a member of an admissions committee responsible for selecting the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Fletcher and his wife have three children and live in midtown Memphis. They are members of Independent Presbyterian Church and currently serve on the board at Westminster Academy. In his spare time, Dr. Fletcher enjoys playing the guitar and teaching his children how to play golf.
