Rehabilitation Office Manager
Location: 6286 Briarcrest Ave., Memphis, TN 38120
Hours: Mon-Fri | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of proven management work experience in a medical or rehabilitation office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Excel and varied EMRs.
- Ability to understand various requirements/guidelines of Medicare competently and accurately, workers comp and commercial health insurance particularly with Rehabilitation billing.
- Ability to work with a variety of personnel including Physicians and Medical Assistants.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Rehabilitation office staff and assist the Rehabilitation Director in the management of the four OrthoSouth rehabilitation clinics.
- Recruit, hire and train Rehabilitation front office staff.
- Perform employee performance evaluations and corrective actions.
- Manage Therapists’ patient schedules and vacation/continuing education.
- Ensure optimal billing and collection of payments.
- Work in conjunction with referring Physicians, Medical Assistants and Case Managers.
- Problem solve and manage patient issues including scheduling, billing, insurance, and complaints.
- Communicate with outside vendors and order Rehabilitation clinical and office supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Rehabilitation Director.
