Rehabilitation Office Manager

Location: 6286 Briarcrest Ave., Memphis, TN 38120

Hours: Mon-Fri | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of proven management work experience in a medical or rehabilitation office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Excel and varied EMRs.
  • Ability to understand various requirements/guidelines of Medicare competently and accurately, workers comp and commercial health insurance particularly with Rehabilitation billing.
  • Ability to work with a variety of personnel including Physicians and Medical Assistants.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service is a must.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Rehabilitation office staff and assist the Rehabilitation Director in the management of the four OrthoSouth rehabilitation clinics.
  • Recruit, hire and train Rehabilitation front office staff.
  • Perform employee performance evaluations and corrective actions.
  • Manage Therapists’ patient schedules and vacation/continuing education.
  • Ensure optimal billing and collection of payments.
  • Work in conjunction with referring Physicians, Medical Assistants and Case Managers.
  • Problem solve and manage patient issues including scheduling, billing, insurance, and complaints.
  • Communicate with outside vendors and order Rehabilitation clinical and office supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Rehabilitation Director.
