Dr. Eager is a dual-fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon practicing at the OrthoSouth Germantown, Bartlett, and Memphis-Poplar Ave. clinics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spinopelvic disorders, including degenerative spine surgery, spine trauma, tumors of the spine, adult spinal deformity, revision spine surgery, and minimally invasive surgery techniques. His additional experience includes surgical management of bone and soft tissue sarcoma, skeletal/spinal metastatic disease, complex limb salvage, and hip/knee arthroplasty. Dr. Eager’s unique expertise enables him to treat a variety of complex spinal disorders as well as adult and pediatric bone and soft tissue tumors.
Dr. Eager completed his spine surgery fellowship at Houston Methodist Texas Medical Center, and his musculoskeletal oncology fellowship at Emory University. He earned his medical degree and served his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (TX).
In addition to his role as a physician, Dr. Eager is a licensed commercial pilot and certified flight instructor who has previously worked as a corporate pilot as well as an instructor of aerobatics.
