Dr. DiPaolo, known as Donna, is a native of NJ where she attended medical school at Rutgers-NJ Medical School and completed residency at the Rutgers-NJ Medical School University Hospital. She possesses additional fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity/Microsurgery from Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Dr. DiPaolo spent the first half of her career working at level 1 and 2 trauma centers caring for large and small joint injuries and mangled limbs. She was blessed with much professional success, locally chairing an orthopedic department at a level 2 teaching hospital and nationally serving as past president of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, along with teaching/mentoring residents and students. Seeking work/family balance in a warmer climate, she relocated to the Mid-South where she relishes her role of small town rural orthopedic provider.
When asked many years ago to help Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto get their trauma program off the ground, she welcomed the opportunity to provide this much needed care to her neighbors in north Mississippi. At home, with lifetime Giants/Packers fan husband George and their three children, “Go Rebs” is a frequent refrain!
