We have two shifts available for this part-time position:

Position 1 Position 2
    • Monday: 12:30pm-5pm
    • Tuesday: 7:30am-5pm
    • Wednesday: 7:30am- 12:00pm
    • Friday: 7:30am-5:00pm
    • Monday: 7:30am-5:00pm
    • Tuesday: 7:30am-12:00pm
    • Wednesday: 7:30am-4:30pm
    • Thursday: 7:30am- 12:00pm

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent GED.
  • Basic Life Support- CPR Certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to project a professional, pleasant image while interacting with others; must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
  • Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary.
  • Advanced level of computer skills required, including electronic medical records, fax servers, internet, spreadsheets, and Word/Excel
  • Ability to responsibly handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred.
  • Great position for students in their gap year working to get into medical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany providers during patient exams to assist with documentation as directed by the provider.  
  • Enter orders as directed by the provider.
  • Interacts effectively with providers, peers, patients, family members and vendors as appropriate.
  • Assist with patient flow, triage, rooming patients, and patient care as assigned. 
  • Competently and accurately obtains and records patient information.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or physician.
