ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Preforming diagnostic imaging examinations using x-ray equipment
•  Appropriately explain procedures to the patient, and follow physician orders precisely
•  Perform cast and DME placement on patients as requested
•  Must be able to interact with doctors, patients, employees and other ancillary personnel with enthusiasm and professionalism
•  Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•  High school graduate or equivalent GED
•  Current TN X-ray license, must hold a current full AART license
•  Orthopedic office experience and computer experience helpful
•  Knowledge of both CR and DR X-ray equipment
•  Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated
•  Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
•  Excellent computer and customer service skills; this is a patient facing position
•  Maintain a positive demeanor with patients, peers, supervisors, and physicians, especially when receiving feedback or direction
•  Knowledge in applying casts and drawing up injectables a plus
