Workers Compensation Coordinator


HOURS:  Monday – Friday  8:00 AM-5:00 PM


  • Minimum two (2) year prior workers compensation experience preferred.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills both written and oral.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Ability to competently and accurately obtain, and interpret patient information, in addition to understanding the various requirements/guidelines of workers compensation.
  • Ability to work with a variety of personnel including physicians and medical assistants.
  • Assist department in meeting/exceeding department goals.
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure and work in a team environment.


  • Communicate effectively with patients, case managers, physicians, insurance companies, employers and other staff.
  • Schedule appointments, verify and document approvals, fax and route patient information appropriately.
  • Maintain an efficient follow up system to ensure patients are taken care of in a timely manner.
  • Perform related functions as outlined by the department manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
