Dr. Abrams is a fellowship trained interventional spine specialist practicing at the OrthoSouth Germantown, Memphis-Briarcrest, and Southaven clinics.

Dr. Abrams completed his surgical internship at the joint civilian-military program at Miami Valley Hospital in the Wright-State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Surgery in Dayton, OH. He then transitioned to gain further leadership and clinical skills as a Combat Search and Rescue Medical Director and Flight Surgeon in the USAF at Nellis Air Force Base. Following those years, Dr. Abrams then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State Health, Hershey, PA. He is a graduate of UT Health Science Center in Memphis and received his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Pittsburgh.

In his free time, Dr. Abrams enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing basketball, and competitive shooting.

Dr. Berkwits is an ACGME fellowship trained interventional spine and pain specialist practicing at our Germantown and Bartlett clinics.

Dr. Berkwits received his medical degree from Feinberg – Northwestern University medical School in Chicago, IL.   After completing a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, he practiced general physical medicine and rehabilitation for 12 years at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, in Malvern, Pennsylvania.  While in practice he recognized that patients with spinal conditions had limited access to non-surgical treatment for their discomfort.  In mid-career, he left his practice to begin an ACGME accredited interventional spine and pain management fellowship at Orthopedic and Spine Specialists in York, Pennsylvania.  He has over 15 years experience practicing interventional spine and pain medicine.

Prior to entering medical school Dr. Berkwits received a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.  He has always been interested in the application of new technology to treat medical conditions, and incorporates a systems approach to the diagnosis and treatment of painful conditions.

He is a co-editor of the Atlas of Image Guided Spinal Procedures, a medical text (now in its second edition ) which  is used as the basis for training in many of the current interventional spine and pain management fellowships.  He also contributed to the text as lead author and co-author on multiple chapters.

He maintains membership in several professional organizations including the Spine Intervention Society, and is a senior member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Dr. Berkwits enjoys spending his free time hiking, organic vegetable gardening, conversing with fellow amateur radio operators on the 40 meter band, and is hoping to learn how to play the bass guitar.   An interesting fact about Dr. Berkwits is that he won the high school science fair in 1974 having presented a design for a computerized electronic medical record.

A native of Greenwood, Mississippi, Dr. Biggers attended Pillow Academy and went on to undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, graduating summa cum laude. He earned a bachelor of science while majoring in microbiology. He was tapped into numerous honor societies while in college and ultimately elected into the MSU Hall of Fame in 2005.

Dr. Biggers graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he earned his medical degree in 2009. He was one of five students selected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society during his third year of medical school. His peers also selected him into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Dr. Biggers completed a 5-year orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Campbell Clinic in 2014, where he was the recipient of the Program Director’s award multiple times during his residency. Dr. Biggers underwent an additional year of specialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama under the tutelage of Dr. James Andrews, Dr. Lyle Cain, Dr. Jeff Dugas, and Dr. Benton Emblom.

As a fellow, Dr. Biggers served as an associate physician for the University of Alabama, Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox AA affiliate), WWE professional wrestling association, Birmingham Ballet. He also treated multiple professional and collegiate athletes from across the country.

Dr. Biggers specializes in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, as well as all sports-related injuries. He also has expertise in shoulder and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Biggers is a member of multiple academic societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Biggers has authored multiple publications, presentations, and educational conferences. Dr. Biggers and his wife, Anna, have two children.

Originally from Virginia, Dr. Christian is a veteran athlete—playing multiple sports in high school and college. It was his early athletic experiences that initiated his interest in sports medicine. He has previously served as the physician representative on the Department of Labor’s Workers’ Compensation Cost Containment Committee. Currently, he resides and practices in Mississippi, and has been named DeSoto’s Best Orthopaedist multiple times. Dr. Christian evaluates and treats all areas of orthopaedics, and his surgical practice specializes in knee and shoulder surgery.

Dr. Cole is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. Dr. Cole served as the 2011 President of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society (TOS). Dr. DiPaolo, known as Donna, is a native of NJ where she attended medical school at Rutgers-NJ Medical School and completed residency at the Rutgers-NJ Medical School University Hospital. She possesses additional fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity/Microsurgery from Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Dr. DiPaolo spent the first half of her career working at level 1 and 2 trauma centers caring for large and small joint injuries and mangled limbs. She was blessed with much professional success, locally chairing an orthopedic department at a level 2 teaching hospital and nationally serving as past president of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, along with teaching/mentoring residents and students. Seeking work/family balance in a warmer climate, she relocated to the Mid-South where she relishes her role of small town rural orthopedic provider.

When asked many years ago to help Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto get their trauma program off the ground, she welcomed the opportunity to provide this much needed care to her neighbors in north Mississippi. At home, with lifetime Giants/Packers fan husband George and their three children, “Go Rebs” is a frequent refrain!

Dr. Tyler Fraser specializes in foot and ankle orthopedic conditions. He sees patients at OrthoSouth’s Memphis-Primacy Parkway and Bartlett clinics. A native of Arlington, Dr. Fraser earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Rhodes College and his medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his orthopedic residency at University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga and his Foot and Ankle Fellowship at UC Davis/Reno Orthopedic Clinic before moving back to Shelby County to begin his specialty practice at OrthoSouth. Dr. Price is an Orthopedic Hospitalist with the OrthoSouth Hospitalist Division at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis and Baptist-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. In addition to general orthopedic surgery, Dr. Price also specializes in adult and pediatric musculoskeletal oncology.

He has also served as a staff physician/surgeon for Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY and Kings Daughters Health in Madison, IN, as well as assistant professor and/or instructor for University of Louisville Department of Orthopaedic Surgeon, University of Utah Departmnet of Orthopaedic Surgeon, and SAmuel D. Cook Summer Institute at The Ohio State University.

He is a board member of the Lincoln Foundation, as well as a board member of the Chestnut Street YMCA, both in Louisville, KY. Dr. Weiss is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with a focus in the arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder and knee areas. As an associate master instructor at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Chicago, IL., he trains other surgeons in modern practices and minimally invasive techniques.  He is affiliated with the athletic teams at Lausanne Collegiate School.

In his free time, Dr. Weiss enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys supporting his favorite sports teams—the Grizzlies and the Tigers—and volunteering at the Church Health Center.

Dr. Wodowski is a board-certified fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee disorders. He focuses primarily on both hip and knee replacement as well as revision hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Wolf is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He primarily practices sports medicine, performing arthroscopic procedures for treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. He also treats conditions involving the elbow, wrist, hand, and ankle.

Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Dr. Wolf has published and presented academic articles, including a study of tendon and joint forces in the hands of high-level pianists. He also takes part in the education of medical students as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

Suzanna works with Dr. David Brown at OrthoSouth offices in Memphis on Briarcrest Ave. and in Germantown.

Kera is a Physician Assistant with the Hospitalist Division of OrthoSouth at Baptist Memorial Hospital in East Memphis. Kera graduated with a Master of Science in Medicine in 2012 from Trevecca Nazarene University, the first and longest running Physician Assistant program in the state of Tennessee. She began working as a physician assistant in orthopedics upon graduating and has continued to work as an Orthopedic Hospitalist that specializes in trauma since 2015. As a former collegiate athlete who dealt with her share of injuries she understands how important it is to receive quality care directed at getting patients back to the daily activities they enjoy.

Matthew is a certified Physician Assistant seeing patients at OrthoSouth’s Bartlett and Germantown clinics. He enjoys working with patients on their individual health goals. Jessica Bradshaw is a certified Physician Assistant who specializes in total hip and knee joint replacements and orthopaedic oncology. She completed her undergraduate degree at Baptist College of Health Science Center and master’s degree at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center to become a Physician Assistant. Jessica treats adults and children with orthopaedic problems ranging from arthritis, acute injuries, bone and soft tissue tumors, and avascular necrosis alongside Dr. Michael Neel. She performs intraarticular knee and ultrasound-guided intraarticular hip injections to treat hip and knee arthritis conservatively. Jessica assists in adult and pediatric surgical procedures and sees patients in the clinical setting with Dr. Neel. Jessica also volunteers at Church Health Center as well. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, family, and friends. Jessica’s patients admire her kindness, compassion, and extensive knowledge about their treatment.

Linda works with Dr. DiPaolo in the OrthoSouth Hospitalist Division in Southaven, seeing orthopedic patients admitted and/or discharged from Baptist Hospital DeSoto. In addition to her work with OrthoSouth, she also serves patients at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada, MS.

Connor works as a Physician Assistant with Dr. Stephen Waggoner.

He was born and raised in Memphis where he attended Arlington High School before going away to college at Austin Peay State University. After graduation, he returned home to attend the Physician Assistant Program at University of TN Health Science Center.

Connor lives with his wife and their two dogs, a six year old Golden Retriever named Yadi and a Great Dane puppy named Piper. He is a huge sports fan, specifically baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals, but is also a fan of the Memphis Tigers and New Orleans Saints. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing with his two dogs, lifting weights and working out, and playing golf.

Emma is a certified physician assistant who works with several of our OrthoSouth physicians in the operating room. She practices primarily out of our Briarcrest and Southaven clinics and assists in surgeries at both Germantown Surgery Center and Southaven Surgery Center. Emma additionally assists in surgeries at local Baptist and Methodist Hospitals.

During her free time, Emma enjoys running, hot yoga, and long walks with friends and family.

Catherine is a nurse practitioner with specialized graduate education in providing orthopedic health care services to people of all ages.  She practices at all OrthoSouth locations as well as surgery center and hospitals affiliated with OrthoSouth.  Catherine acts as the first assist in surgery and as a clinical practitioner.

Catherine is native Memphian having graduated from Hutchison School.  She is a wife and mother of 2 young girls.  Outside of work she enjoys calligraphy and gardening and is a member of Independent Presbyterian Church.

Holly is a certified nurse practitioner working primarily at the OrthoSouth Briarcrest Ave. clinic in Memphis with Dr. Trey Hester. Victoria completed her Physician Assistant training at UTHSC, a new and esteemed program known for its high-quality education and focus on teaching a comprehensive background in primary and specialty care medicine. One of the reasons Victoria became a PA was to improve access to healthcare which she demonstrates by functioning as an extension of Dr. Daniel Fletcher’s practice. She is committed to lifelong learning and advancing the knowledge of the PA profession, and has a passion for patient care.

Amy Roskos is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in spinal orthopaedics.

In 2007, Amy graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Master of Science in Nursing. Upon completion of both her undergraduate and graduate programs, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.

She continues to accumulate valuable experience working as a direct extension of Patrick M. Curlee, MD, in the operating room, hospital, and clinical settings since 2011. Her prior nurse practitioner experience also includes 4 years in neurosurgery.

Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, shopping with friends, vacationing with family, and operating her zero turn mower. She is also known for being a Brooks running shoe enthusiast.

Constance Simpson, APRN is an advanced nurse practitioner working at OrthoSouth clinics in Memphis (Briarcrest Ave.) and Germantown alongside Dr. Tom Giel. She possesses extensive nursing experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, and neurosciences, including time as a nurse for Semmes Murphey Clinic, OrthoSouth’s Crosstown Back and Pain Institute, and most recently, as a nurse practitioner at SpineXpress in Arlington, TN.

During her time as a registered nurse and then advanced practice nurse, Constance underwent extensive one-on-one training with neurosurgeons, actively participating as a first assistant in operating rooms, and delivering comprehensive care to diverse patients involving evaluating and treating neurological and musculoskeletal complaints, performing various injections with and without ultrasound guidance, ordering appropriate tests, and prescribing and monitoring medications. She has played a key role in surgeries such as kyphoplasty and spinal cord stimulator procedures, while also fostering effective relationships with patients and medical staff. Her roles have also included patient education on pain management methods and collaborating with physicians on alternative approaches to narcotic pain medications.

Starting her career as a Registered Nurse at Semmes Murphey Clinic and later at Baptist Memorial Hospital, she gained valuable experience in interventional pain medicine, neurosurgery, and patient care. Notably, she co-authored a journal article and actively participated in research studies, showcasing her commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

Constance’s committment to patient care, along with her diverse background of clinical experience makes her a valuable asset to the OrthoSouth team.

Ginger has been practicing orthopedics since 2010.  She primarily sees patients with sports injuries, including knees and shoulders.  As an avid athlete, Mrs. Warmath understands how it feels to be sidelined with an injury and the importance of getting back to your activity of choice.

Outside of work, Ginger has served the Memphis community through volunteer work with the Exchange Club Family Center and the Children’s Museum of Memphis.  She enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending weekends at the lake with her husband and 2 sons.

Michael is a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing within an orthopedic trauma and surgery setting with our Hospitalist division. As an orthopedic FNP, Mr. Williams works closely with the trauma surgeons to provide medical care for injured patients coming into the emergency department at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto.

Prior to joining OrthoSouth, Mr. Williams worked at ProActive Heart and Vein Center, and at The Conrad Pearson Clinic. He also previously served as an RN in the Post Anethesia Care Unit, ER, and CVICU at Methodist Hospitals in Germantown, Olive Branch, and Midtown.

Mr. Williams earned his B.S. in Nursing at the University of Mississippi and his M.S. in Nursing at the University of Memphis. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
